ABOUT US

The foundations of Wallace and Scott Furniture Design in its current guise were laid back in 1996 when I set out into the world as a very green Product and 3D design graduate. That year, I won an ELLE Decoration ‘Must Have’ award at the New Designers graduate exhibition and used that exposure to start Skelf Furniture Design (a ‘Skelf’ is a Scottish word for a splinter which reflects my heritage and my primary medium used at that time). Skelf enjoyed reasonable success for a few years solely creating one-off pieces for private clients. 

FURNITURE MADE FOR YOU

With an earlier catalogue of bespoke design work, I now wanted to create a range of furniture pieces that could be made in greater quantities, and that would be original in design and still include individual handmade components. Currently, we offer our range of tubular stainless steel and glass designs and provide a bespoke design and make service for UK clients who prefer a more individual piece. Similarly, our tubular furniture pieces come in a range of sizes, surface finishes and colours and can be further tailored to your exact needs should you wish.
